This photo was taken around 1905. The young man standing at the back is
Carl Herman Ahrens, Carl's eldest son. The two women seated on the log
are Emily Ahrens, his first wife, and Eleanor Douglas, his cousin. The
remaining people are the Hutcheson family, relatives of Emily's.
