This photo was taken at the Roycroft Inn in
East Aurora, NY in September of 2006. The
photo includes Martha McGowan (great
granddaughter of Carl Ahrens and Emily Carroll)
and Kim Bullock (great granddaughter of Carl
Ahrens and Martha "Madonna" Niles.
This photo was taken at the first ever meeting
between members of Carl's first and second
families.
I include it in the Carl Ahrens Day event photos
because Martha was at the event but no photos
were taken of her there. Martha's mother, Betty
Purdell, a granddaughter of Carl and Emily, was
also present at the event. We were all too busy
visiting to dig out the cameras.
